Knit Basics: My First Project is a 2 session course, 2 hours once a week, for 2 weeks. Participants apply the basic knitting skills learned in Knit Basics by making a triangular shawl. In addition to reinforcing and polishing basic knitting techniques, participants gain skills needed to read a pattern, make a gauge swatch, knit a garter tab cast on, knit right and left leaning increases, and use various knitting notions.
