The same luxurious tweed of the original Alba is now available as an Aran weight yarn newly offered for fall 2023. This lovely yarn bears the original Gaelic name for the kingdom of Scotland as its subtle and stunning tweed effect and colors are inspired by the Scottish Highlands. This tweedy yarn combines a luxurious blend of Merino Wool and Superfine Alpaca, accented with a taste of viscose sourced from German sustainable forestry.

Alba is suitable for traditional cabled sweaters and palatable enough for even color work. There are vibrant and subtle shades to suit everyone.
