Jody Long
British knitwear designer Jody Long has written more than ten knitting books, and he brings that same designer's eye to his own line of yarns. He is a senior knitwear designer for Knitting Fever, and together they launched the Jody Long collection. His color stories draw on Spanish pottery, Turkish markets, open skies and spring blossoms.
The result is a young, fresh approach to knitting that is bringing a new generation to the craft. His yarns run from super fine to super bulky, and we carry pattern leaflets written for many of them. That makes it easy to find a design you love and leave with everything you need.
New for Fall 2026
Loop is a medium weight blend of wool, mulesing-free alpaca, acrylic and polyester, made for cozy sweaters and textured stitches. Loft is its bulky sibling, plush and warm with generous yardage. Bella is 100% extrafine merino at a fine gauge. It is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified and mulesing-free, and it stars in eight new baby and kids' designs from Florence to Verona.
Fall also brings the Daisy and Olena pullovers in plush Pima Grande cotton, the Livi shawl in Delish merino and silk, and Flopsy the Bunny for the little ones on your list.
